Zurückgekehrt [von Devil’s Bridge] dinirt man noch à la hâte, und fährt dann bei immer mehr sich aufklärendem Himmel, aber immer mehr dunkelndem Abend hier herab nach diesem Seebade [Aberystwyth], wo leider das Gasthaus von zehn Touristen fast ganz in Beschlag genommen ist, so daß mit Noth und Mühe noch in benachbarthen Häusern ein hinreichendes Unterkommen geschafft wird. — Gleichsam als Entschädigung für diese Weitläufigkeiten wurde dem hohen Gaste, welcher trotz des Incognito bald erkannt war, ein “God save the Queen!” noch in später Dunkelheit gebracht!
