Want lees, versta, spreek nog zoo goed Engelsch, met het uitspreken zooals het behoort van de plaatsnamen in Wales, krijgt ge een tong-verstuiking of keelaandoening. Met Llandudnoe, Dwyyg fylchu, Ty-y-Bwich [sic] gaat 't nog wel en men begreep mij direct toen ik een biljet voor "Betty der Koei" (juiste naam "Bettws-Y-Coed) vroeg, maar wat aan te vangen met Llandfairpwllguyngyllgogerychwyrndnbwllsantysiliogogogoch [sic]?
