In Machynlleth halfen mir der Tuchhändler Richard Rees und der Geistliche Jessaiah Jones bei der Auswahl der Leute. Pl. 1054 un 1055 stammen von dem Schuster Owen Morris, ebenso wie die Niederschrift und Übersetzung der betreffenden Texte. Der Phonographierte ist ziemlich redegewandt, da er früher das Amt eines 'town-criar", d. h. eines Ausrufers bekleidet hatte . . .. (Trebitsch 163)
