Wat de stad Rhyl betreft, die ge zeer nabij het station gelegen ziet, 't is eene zeebadplaats, zich uitstrekkende aan het lage, zandige einde van de vallei van Clywd: zij (de badplaats) is in hare opkomst; hare Iigging en die van de onmiddelijke omgeving, zijn wel niet behagelijk, doch Rhyl, hoewel, volgens het zeggen, niet tot de "first-rate bathing places" behoorende, moet voor den burgerstand veel aantrekkelijks hebben en, in elk geval, — gewordt dit van hier gewaar — eene zeer bedrijvige stad zijn.
